The Shiva Lingamstone is a sacred treasure of both the ancient and modern worlds, found in the Narmada River in Onkar Mandhata, one of the seven holy sites of India.
These remarkable stones are made of cryptocrystalline quartz, and legend has it that they formed when a meteorite fell to earth several million years ago. The natural movement of the river is believed to gradually create the egg-like, oval shape of the stones.
